Singapore/Hong Kong, 14 November 2019 – AxiomSL has been awarded the Best Solution in Regulatory Reporting and the Regtech Award for Cloud Innovation in the 2nd Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2019 at a ceremony in Singapore on 13 November 2019.
In the hotly-contested Regulatory Reporting category, AxiomSL emerged as the winner for its enterprise data management platform for risk and regulatory reporting, known as ControllerView. The solution is able to retrieve, manage, and reconcile large volumes of disparate, diverse data with automated workflows, and flexibly interface with existing architectures and data structures at financial institutions to drive regulatory reporting.
According to judging panel, a key strength of the solution is the flexibility of its data model, which is able to ingest and integrate original source data without forcing data conversion, by leveraging AxiomSL’s family of data dictionaries. The solution “effectively conquers the data management challenges” with respect to regulatory reporting, said one judge.
“Axiom SL’s solution has the significant advantage of not imposing a data structure, and appears to focus on data flows,” another judge said. “As regulators continue to expand their appetite data generated from across the enterprise, the most future-proofed solution will be one that focuses on ingestion capabilities.”
In the Regtech category for Cloud Innovation, the judges highlighted AxiomSL’s cloud service – known as RegCloud – which enables financial institutions to securely and efficiently run an array of end-to-end risk and regulatory data management and reporting solutions on ControllerView in the cloud.
ControllerView deployed on RegCloud delivers transparency across all processes, including data sourcing, enrichment, aggregation, pre-processing, validation and reporting. In addition, dynamic data-lineage capabilities, intuitive user-controlled workflow automation, and end-to-end user-friendly visualisations underpin all processes.
In the 2018 Regulation Asia Awards, AxiomSL was awarded Outstanding Collaborative Initiative for its Open Taxonomy project aimed simplifying MAS 610/1003 compliance reporting.
