Holland & Marie Recognised in Singapore for Compliance Consultancy Services

Singapore/Hong Kong, 22 November 2022 – Holland & Marie was recognised as One to Watch – Compliance Service Provider in the 5th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2022 at an in-person ceremony on 22 November 2022.

Holland & Marie was recognised for its efforts to assist firms in complying with regulatory and licensing requirements under Singapore’s Payment Services Act, and in meeting their ongoing compliance obligations under the Act. The firm has assisted in numerous licence applications over the past year and has advised several large businesses that subsequently obtained in-principle approval to provide Digital Payment Token services in Singapore.

As part of this work, Holland & Marie helps firms understand their regulatory obligations, drafts custom compliance plans and internal policies, assists in preparing and reviewing AML and KYC programmes, and provides internal audits for applicants and licensees to assess their AML/CFT policies and controls for sufficiency and effectiveness.

“As the regulatory landscape for fintech, payment and digital asset firms grows in complexity, there is a growing need for specific expertise to de-mystify regulatory requirements and simplify compliance,” said one judge on the Regulation Asia awards panel. “Holland & Marie’s core strength is in its team’s extensive legal, regulatory compliance, and risk management expertise, which it has used to help prominent names in the crypto space as well as smaller new entrants. The firm is a rising star in this space and worth watching.”

Holland & Marie provides compliance consultancy, risk management, legal, and management consulting services, focusing on small and mid-sized financial institutions, fintech firms, SMEs and startups.
