Hong Kong Regulator Reiterates IPO Sponsor Liability

The Securities and Futures Commission has reaffirmed that sponsors of initial public offerings (IPO), particularly banks that prepare companies for a Hong Kong listing, are criminally liable for defective prospectuses.
