Selected companies will be showcased prominently at Hong Kong Fintech Week 2021 which takes place from 1 to 5 November.
InvestHK (Invest Hong Kong) has launched its 2021 Global Fast Track programme aimed at accelerating fintech scaling opportunities in Hong Kong and beyond.
The annual Fast Track programme plugs fintech enterprises into Hong Kong’s ecosystem of regulators, business leaders, corporates and investors to drive their ventures across Hong Kong and elsewhere in Asia.
In a notice, InvestHK said the 2021 programme is now open for applications from fintech scale-ups and established firms intending to scale from Hong Kong to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Asia and beyond.
Companies from nine key finance verticals are invited to participate – commercial banking; investment, wealthtech and capital markets; retail banking; personal finance; insurtech; regtech; digital assets; payments; and ESG.
Under the programme, successful applicants will be able to explore business opportunities with the corporate and investor champions, which include AMTD Group, Cyberport, Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Corporation, and HKEX (Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing), as well as prominent banks and insurers such as BOCHK, HSBC and Manulife – to name a few.

“As a strategically positioned gateway to Asia and, of course, Mainland China including the GBA, and with its free and open market and resilient business environment, Hong Kong is a magnet for global talent and entrepreneurial innovation. This year’s Global Fast Track will showcase the best of what Hong Kong has to offer.”
Applications are open until 10 September.
Selected applicants will be invited to enter a pitch competition adjudicated by a judging panel formed by the champions. The winners will be announced during Hong Kong Fintech Week 2021, which takes place from 1 to 5 November.
