Meeting Regulatory Demands Through End-to-End Trade Reporting

Struan Lloyd talks to Regulation Asia about IHS Markit’s global trade reporting platform and meeting the regulatory challenges in the trade reporting space.

The trade reporting space has continued to evolve in recent years, with regulators continuing to expand the scope of data that needs to be reported and demanding that reported data is accurate and complete. As a result, buy-side firms have tended towards end-to-end trade reporting platforms which can ingest data from multiple sources, and transform, enrich and reconcile the data, to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Elliott Gotkine recently sat down with Struan Lloyd to discuss how IHS Markit’s Integrated Reporting platform stands out, recent initiatives to further develop the platform, and the key regulatory challenges that lay ahead in the trade reporting space.

IHS Markit won Best Solution in Trade Reporting in the 3rd Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2020 in an online ceremony on 15 December 2020.
