Singapore/Hong Kong, 9 December 2021 – Quantexa won Best Solution in Anti Fraud in the 4th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2021 at an online ceremony on 9 December 2021.
Quantexa was recognised for Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI), a modular and integrated platform with the ability to connect internal and external data sets to provide a single view, enriched with intelligence about the relationships between people, places and organisations. CDI helps organisations overcome data quality issues and deliver the context needed to make better and faster decisions. Specifically, it uses context and networks to uncover hidden risk and discover new opportunities.
A key use case of the platform is in fraud detection, due to its ability to bring together a holistic view of each of the parties, create a networked view of customer relationships, use graph analytics enabled context to detect risk, and increase investigator efficiency. CDI allows firms to use the same single view of customers, employees and other data sets to deploy scenarios, rules and models for various fraud types and apply analytics, AI and machine learning to trigger alerts based on individual behaviours and events, which are scored in real time.
In addition, intuitive visualisation and dashboard features on the platform allow for easy identification of fraud risks in customer networks. For instance, the platform can monitor a bank’s ongoing lending relationships for early-warning signs of fraud or changes in customer context, using built-in models of known typologies. It can also assess the risk of new applications for potential fraud, while automatically taking account of an applicant’s connections to other customers. CDI is also able to facilitate investigations by rapidly assembling case data and surfacing key insights to support case assessment and triage.
“Quantexa’s anti-fraud capabilities are underpinned by the CDI platform’s foundational entity resolution capabilities,” said a judge on the awards panel. “The solution’s entity resolution, network analytics and graph analytics features are very powerful. Given the rise of fraud in the past 18 months, it’s no wonder Quantexa is seeing increased adoption in APAC and elsewhere.”
Quantexa’s clients include tier 1 global organisations across banking, insurance and government in more than 70 countries. Its newest APAC offices have opened in Melbourne and Singapore, as it looks to expand further into the region.
