Quantexa Wins RegTech Award for Data Analytics Capabilities

Singapore/Hong Kong, 9 December 2021 – Quantexa was awarded the RegTech Award for Data Analytics & Visualisation in the 4th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2021 at an online ceremony on 9 December 2021.

Quantexa was recognised for Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI), a modular and integrated platform with the ability to connect internal and external data sets to provide a single view, enriched with intelligence about the relationships between people, places and organisations. CDI helps organisations overcome data quality issues and deliver the context needed to make better and faster decisions. Specifically, it uses context and networks to uncover hidden risk and discover new opportunities, covering use cases such as financial crime, AML, KYC operations, fraud, risk and assurance, customer intelligence, credit risk and master data management, among others.

Among its core features, CDI’s dynamic entity resolution capabilities enable firms to connect data from any location and regardless of quality, to create a single, complete view of the data. The platform ingests the data a single time and resolves it dynamically in real-time or in batch, for any number of use cases. The platform also generates a network view of the data to uncover hidden connections and behaviours, while a graph analytics framework enables firms to use the context of resolved entities and relationships in scenarios, rules and models which can leverages AI and machine learning to optimise automated decisions. In addition, intuitive visualisation and dashboard features on the platform allow for easy identification of the risks and opportunities in customer networks.

Earlier this year, Quantexa launched Syneo, a contextual monitoring platform that uses entity resolution to resolve counterparties and better understand the relationships between them by using network analytics and graph theory, to enhance financial crime and fraud investigations. Contextual monitoring takes the data collated manually post-alert generation by investigators on a subset of customers, and applies it at-scale to all customers and parties for detection. This advanced ‘investigate to detect’ process leverages shared data and intelligence from law enforcement and police agencies, and signals a new way of tackling financial crime and fraud.

“Quantexa is disrupting the fraud and financial crime landscape with its highly effective use of data, entity resolution, and network analytics capabilities,” said a judge on the awards panel. “The additional monitoring, alert management, and investigations features make it all the more powerful as a platform to automate risk identification and free up staff to focus on more pressing issues.”

Quantexa’s clients include tier 1 global organisations across banking, insurance and government in more than 70 countries. Its newest APAC offices have opened in Melbourne and Singapore, as it looks to expand further into the region.
