The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has been named Capital Markets Advisory Firm of the Year at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2025.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the leading post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, has been named Capital Markets Advisory Firm of the Year at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2025 for its Consulting Services. The award was celebrated in person on 10 November 2025.

This award recognises a firm that has demonstrated exceptional expertise, leadership, and partnership in guiding financial institutions and the wider market through the complexities of the evolving regulatory and operational landscape. The judges looked for a firm that acts as a true partner, providing deep subject matter expertise and fostering industry-wide collaboration to solve critical challenges. 

DTCC’s Consulting Services was recognised for its pivotal role in advising and supporting the global financial industry through one of its most significant undertakings: the coordinated rewrite of derivatives trade reporting rules across multiple jurisdictions. Leveraging its industry-owned and governed model, DTCC’s Consulting Services has acted as a central, neutral advocate, working collaboratively with thousands of clients and dozens of regulators to promote data harmonisation, enhance data quality, and ensure market readiness.

They didn’t just provide a platform; actively educated clients, offered deep subject matter expertise, and worked hand-in-hand with firms to improve their internal processes, as evidenced by improved client data quality and submission rates.” 

The judges also highlighted DTCC's commitment to bringing key industry concerns to the forefront of policy discussions and its success in facilitating consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders.
