The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s Repository & Derivatives Services (RDS) has won Best Trade Reporting Solution at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2025 for its Trade Reporting Analytics (TRA) service.
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, has won Best Trade Reporting Solution at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2025 for Repository & Derivatives Services’ Trade Reporting Analytics (TRA). The award was celebrated in person on 10 November 2025.
This award recognises a trade reporting solution that provides exceptional accuracy, efficiency, and data quality assurance, enabling firms to meet complex regulatory obligations with confidence. The judges looked for solutions that not only ensure compliance but also provide actionable insights to improve reporting processes.
DTCC's TRA was recognised for its unique ability to transform post-reporting quality assurance from a purely internal function into a community-driven, intelligence-led process. The solution, which requires zero integration for clients of DTCC’s Global Trade Repository (GTR), provides a library of nearly 300 data quality insights and, most notably, allows firms to benchmark their reporting performance against an anonymised peer group.
“What sets DTCC's solution apart is its ability to leverage its unique position as a central market infrastructure. The anonymised peer benchmarking is extremely unique, turning data quality from an isolated, internal challenge into a community-driven exercise in continuous improvement,” said a judge on the Regulation Asia Awards panel. “The platform provides powerful analytics for error detection and trend analysis, and the contextual insight from peer comparison is truly innovative.”
The solution was also praised for its user-centric design, which includes a self-service portal and a development roadmap that is directly influenced by a working group of global reporting firms. This ensures the tool evolves in lockstep with both regulatory demands and the practical needs of the industry.
