HONG KONG, 5 November 2026 – LSEG Risk Intelligence has won Best Sanctions, PEPs & Adverse Media Screening Solution, Technology Provider at the ninth annual Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence, presented at The St. Regis Hong Kong.
World-Check keeps LSEG Risk Intelligence at the front of sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening, with annual independent ISAE 3000 assurance of its sanctions data. Also, in 2026, World-Check One moved from six- times-daily batches to updates within minutes, powered by World-Check On Demand.
LSEG Risk Intelligence won the predecessor award for adverse media monitoring in 2025; this award now covers sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening together. LSEG Risk Intelligence was also recognised this year in Best Digital Identity Verification Solution (Highly Commended), Best AML/CTF & Sanctions Data Provider (Highly Commended) and Best Payments Compliance & Risk Solution.
The award recognises sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening that delivers accuracy against global watchlists and intelligent matching that cuts false positives, as sanctions and export controls grow in importance. Judges assessed entries on screening accuracy and coverage, intelligent matching and false-positive reduction, update latency and list currency, and workflow integration.
“LSEG Risk Intelligence demonstrated very broad, independently assured risk-data coverage, combined with mature matching, four production delivery architectures and unusually strong evidence on update latency,” said a member of Regulation Asia's independent judging panel.
“Screening is only as reliable as the data behind it. LSEG Risk Intelligence showed its sanctions data is independently assured and kept current,” said Bradley Maclean, Chair of the Awards Committee, Regulation Asia.
About the Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence
Now in their ninth year, the Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence recognise achievements advancing regulatory practice across Asia-Pacific.
The judging process involves an independent panel of senior industry practitioners and the Awards Committee. Entries are assessed against published, award-specific criteria covering Asia-Pacific relevance and material developments in the twelve months to 30 June 2026. Awards are granted against a defined standard rather than relative to other entries.
Judging decisions are independent of editorial and commercial operations. There is no entry, shortlisting or winner fee, and commercial relationships do not influence results.
