S&P Global Market Intelligence has won Best Climate Risk Management Solution at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2025 for its Climate Credit Analytics (CCA) solution. The award was announced at a ceremony held in person on 10 November 2025.
This award recognises a solution that provides exceptional capabilities to help financial institutions identify, measure, manage, and report on climate-related financial risks.
S&P Global Market Intelligence was recognised for its comprehensive and robust CCA solution, which excels at translating complex climate scenarios into tangible financial and credit risk impacts for corporations. The judges were impressed with the solution's ability to integrate both physical and transition risks into sophisticated credit models, its extensive library of regulatory scenarios (NGFS, ECB, HKMA, MAS) as well as short term scenarios and customized-scenario capabilities, and its flexible, sector-specific bottom-up modelling.
“S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Climate Credit Analytics excels at translating complex climate scenarios into tangible financial and credit risk impacts. The 'Premium' feature is a powerful tool for identifying both risks and financing opportunities,” said one judge on the Regulation Asia Awards panel. “Its comprehensive scenario library, sector-specific modelling for hard-to-abate sectors, and strong regulatory alignment make it an indispensable solution for financial institutions navigating the complexities of climate risk.”
A key innovation highlighted was the 'Premium' version, which projects corporate emissions, capital expenditure, and funding needs based on company transition plans, enabling users to identify both risks and financing opportunities. The solution’s strong market adoption and validation by major global financial institutions and regulators further cement its position as a market leader, the judges noted.
