XTransfer has been recognised as Highly Commended in the Best In-house Use of AI in Fraud and Financial Crime Detection at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2025. The recognition was announced at a ceremony held in person on 10 November 2025.
This award acknowledges organisations that leverage Artificial Intelligence to deliver unique and effective solutions for detecting and preventing fraud and financial crime, with a focus on innovation, effectiveness, and adaptability to evolving threats.
XTransfer was recognised for its in-house solution, TradePilot, the first Large Language Model (LLM) specifically designed for the global foreign trade financial sector. The solution addresses the significant challenge of providing compliant and efficient financial services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in B2B cross-border trade, a segment often underserved by traditional banks due to complex and manual AML processes.
“We were impressed by XTransfer's innovative application of a custom-built Large Language Model to address the specific fraud and AML challenges in B2B cross-border trade,” said a judge on the Regulation Asia Awards panel. “The solution, TradePilot, leverages a unique, proprietary dataset to automate compliance for the SME sector, demonstrating XTransfer's clear vision for making global trade safer and more accessible.”
By training its LLM on a vast, proprietary dataset from its extensive SME client base, TradePilot is able to achieve a deep contextual understanding of B2B transactions, enhancing the accuracy of risk detection and streamlining compliance workflows for its banking partners, the judges noted.
